About Jared Heggen, Attorney at Law

Jared (Jed) Heggen was born in Kalispell, Montana, and graduated from Flathead High School in 1987. He went on to Yale University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1991. After gaining valuable business experience working in his family’s company, he pursued law at the University of Montana, where he graduated in 1996. Following law school, Jed practiced at several firms, developing a strong foundation in business and commercial law. In 1998, he established Heggen Law Office, P.C., where he has since built a reputation for his expertise in commercial transactions, business consulting, and real estate law.
In addition to his legal practice, Jed and his wife, Jennifer, have successfully operated multiple businesses, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners.
A Life Rooted in Montana
Jed and Jennifer reside in Missoula, Montana, where they are deeply involved in their children’s professional pursuits. Jennifer pursued her passion for the culinary arts, graduating at the top of her class and training at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in Napa Valley. She is now the owner and operator of The Stables Restaurant and Cranky Sam Brewing Co.
As a family, they enjoy hunting, fishing, and exploring Montana’s breathtaking landscapes. When time allows, Jed, a licensed pilot, enjoys flying to destinations near and far.
